How to Apply for a Listing

Q: Who can apply?
A: Anyone may apply - cities, permit officers, support services, vendors, crew, production companies, etc. Submission does not guarantee inclusion.
Listings are per the discretion of the Film Commission and must meet our guidelines, pertaining to film, video & media production.
Q: What if my listing hasn't changed?
A: We'll contact you by email for an update. Call or email if you don't hear from us, or if your listing is incorrect.
Q: When's the deadline to submit?
A: NONE - but don't forget to email a resume that reflects your listing.
Q: What if I miss the deadline?
A: As of January 05, we will add new submissions each month.

Q: What are the eligibility requirements?
ELIGIBILITY FOR PROFESSIONALS AND COMPANIES: CREW and COMPANIES are eligible if located in Santa Barbara, SLO or Ventura counties. Listings are free.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: In compliance with industry-wide submission standards (i.e., LA 411),
we have added two (2) requirements for submissions by crew, location services, production, and post-production companies:
1. Everyone must provide a current resume, by email or fax, within 7 days of their application for a listing on our site. The resume must reflect EACH listing. A new resume is required every 3 years, to ensure that you are still active in your field or craft.
2. Three (3) credits are required of each listing, and all fields must be completed, including date, contact and phone.
3. Incomplete entries will not be considered. Call if you have special issues (i.e., you've been working on one animation film for 3 years, and therefore do not have 3 credits.)
