A film financing company with an interactive model uses ad revenue from filmties.com to finance films.
Current advertisers include: Sony, Monster.com, Verizon, Citibank, & Apple.
FILMTIES' Film Expedition Series (free), aims to raise $10,000,000 in 2006 to finance independent films in California. The FE series (various cities statewide) functions as a two day event for actors, screenwriters, and producers, an open casting call & film financing conference.
Filmmaker eligibility requirements:
1. Be members in Good Status of www.filmties.com complete with film profile, etc. (FREE)
2. Win a filmties.com contest or be randomly selected by FILMTIES for funding.
3. Alternatively, filmmakers & script writers (even if not selected) can secure guidance in developing their project for a small fee.
4. Must film at least 80% of principal photography in California.
