Hurray For Renee
Renée Bergan announced that they did reach their $10,000 matching
grant for Poto Mitan, and in fact, raised $12,000, which makes
$22,000 total. “The support from all of you has been overwhelming,”
she said. “We are so appreciative.” This money allows them
to focus on editing and postproduction, and they plan to complete the

Carrillo Northbound On-Ramp Closure Next Week
A project to widen the northbound Hwy 101 on-ramp and install a ramp meter
from the Carrillo under-crossing to the Micheltorena pedestrian over-crossing
will begin on Monday, February 4, weather permitting. The northbound on-ramp
will be closed Monday-Friday, 9 pm-6 am and Saturday, February 9,11:30
pm-6 am. Daytime construction is scheduled to begin Monday, February 11,
and the project is expected to be complete in October 2008. Closure updates

Hwy 101 Improvements Between Milpas and Hot Springs
Utility relocation work and the removal of trees will occur over the next
few months in preparation for the upcoming Highway 101 Operational Improvements
